Throughout the years and because of the erosion of the sea, the island has taken the shape of a bridge. Now it is one of the most iconic places for leisure boats and climbers.

Located between Cala Santanyí and Caló des Macs, Es Pontàs is a special place. Its magic has rubbed off on many painters and photographers, such as the amazing Francisco Bernareggi, who for 3 years came here every day at the same time to capture the light all year round. Difficult to reach, Es Pontàs is a solitary place. If you manage to get there, your sole companions with be pleasure boats, seagulls and perhaps a group of climbers. It’s a very popular place for its spectacular beauty and challenging terrain.
